Description
To become a member, your Ohio whitetail must be taken in fair chase within the law and tagged by the state of Ohio. The buck must be scored by an official BBBC scorer (there is no charge to be measured) and must meet the minimum score of 140 inches typical or 160 inches non-typical using the Boone & Crockett system. If your buck qualifies, this $35 fee covers your $30 entry fee plus $5 toward your first year of dues. Your scorer collects the information needed for the online record book; you will be invited to the annual banquet, awards ceremony, and membership meeting the following year, where you can receive your frameable certificate.
Where your membership fee goes
The club uses membership support for hunter education, youth organizations, scholarships for students pursuing wildlife careers, PCBA, and other deer and wildlife programs. The BBBC has long supported Camp Heritage and similar hands-on youth experiences, as well as trophies, certificates, and periodic hard-copy record book printing.
If you prefer not to pay online, contact the club or send payment as directed on your renewal notice or scoring paperwork.
